Moneypuck has the scoring probability on Tuch's shot at 7.6%. It wasn't good dude.
Tuch's an NHL 90+ percentile mid range goal scorer the past three years. This year's 90 percentile is his lowest. Guy can shoot the pill.

Guess I should have put /sarcasm for the obvious sarcasm?
You're getting good at this internet thing. Congratulations!

Basic hockey, the defenders covered the two guys entering the zone and Hyman floated back and left Tuch uncovered, Nurse made an off balance move but couldn’t get over. You let NHL scorers have an untouched shot from the high slot and they’re going to score.

Don’t care how “expected” that was.

And yeah Skinner was flopping like a fish and couldn’t get over.

Both things are true, Skinner should have done better and out forwards as usual won’t get back and defend.

Are you really defending skinner after watching this game?

LOL. You were liking posts defending Skinner less than 24 hours ago and simping for management on deadline day.

I don't disagree and maybe if Stu played it better I wouldn't be so mad.

But, he played it terribly. Didn't set his feet, wasn't square and seemed surprised the shot came in so clearly he wasn't reading the play either.

At best I'd rate Tuch's goal at "well, I'd like a save" territory but the way Stu played it made sure basically anyone shooting on him probably would've scored.

It must be so frustrating for every game to be a shootout and the score always close all because they know they're goalie is guaranteed to give up at least a couple stinkers.

No wonder they're defense looks worse lately, they know they have to push offense all the time to keep the game close.... they know even if they play perfect defense they will still be behind.

Both things can be true. Add poor defensive gap and late coverage on the wrong shooter. Skinner's no bueno this game. But there are some considerations that are also valid.
