Wow coach loves Rempe. He's not coming out anytime soon. Lol
Why would we want him NOT to be in the lineup? Literally the kid has done nothing wrong and literally everything right, except in that one fight in which I guess he will learn with all of this "outside help" from guys like Fotiu and Scott? Lmao

He was less than a week removed from his 5 goal game
Wouldn't mind if he had as many SHOTS as were given. Although, I will say the people administering them, were MUCH MORE on target as to where the shot needed to be.
Mika has NOT been deadly, needs to worry less about MPH and get the puck on the dang net. Come on Mika, I KNOW you are better than this.

Rempe: Just go after them and don't get ejected.

We'll be okay if we set the tone.
He's been much better choosing his spots and less of a charging look to his hits (something Ryan Hollweg never learned), he's looking to make effective hits, not flatten anything that moves. He understands that his primary goal is contribute to his line's effectiveness to keep the puck on the right side of the ice, secondly to intimidate with big hits, and lastly to fight.

What could have been. Other than two games against Philly he never came close to that again.
He's just off. Simple passes on the PP are a foot out of reach, never makes the right decision along the boards on the PP, things he used to be pretty good at are a struggle for him. Wonder if his personal life legal issues are weighing on him, wouldn't be surprised if they are.

Pretty quiet in here for a game against a divisional rival.

I hope Rempe won’t fight McDermitt. Matt has no actual technique yet, bad news against a true fighter like that ogre for hire on the other side.
He seems very vulnerable to counterpunches. Against Reaves for example, he used his reach and was jabbing with his left, but as soon as Rempe started using his right to go for legit shots Reaves began to counter punch and had a few good chances (not sure any really connected luckily). It might be Rempe's stance/balance. I think his opponents are learning that his balance/lower body strength isn't great and they yank him around as he's throwing them leading to good counterpunch opportunities. I'm nervous whenever he squares off because he really seems open to taking some big shots.

I dunno, maybe some of UFC/boxing experts can weigh in here.
