I honestly thought when we drafted guys like Kravs-Anderson -KK and Laf -Schneider-Miller ..we would be well on the way ....at bare minimum at least 2 Cups by now . We had some great players and lots of draft stock.....but it all went so downhill .

Thinking we'd be able to grab 2 as a minimum sees slightly greedy

My biggest disappointment so far is that outside of Laf once, the young talent has not really been a factor in either run we made to the CF. You need guys on 1st and 2nd contracts contributing well above their cap level and we just never really got it

I see similar posts about first round picks on many sports boards but it often surprises me because other teams are drafting their own first round picks at the same time and often at a better spot. I guess I could see that when its #1 and #2 but we had some poor luck in our draft years. We took the consensus guys in those drafts but neither one was ever expected to be a McDavid. It is kind of a let down. I know I always hoped you would get a superstar with the #1 or #2 pick in the draft.

I'm under no delusions that we're going to see extra effort in games of particular consequence.

I'm just going to be a good fan and root for the playoffs, like I always do. I don't think this roster has what it takes, but I'll tka e 1% chance over 0. Reminds me of 2017 and 2009 in some ways.
