Big Game Story: Post Trade-Deadline Game-Day. This is the second game this season between the Los Angeles Kings and the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets beat the Kings, 5-3, in the first game on Oct. 4, 2013 at MTS Centre. Much has happened both in L.A. and in Winnipeg since the last time these two teams met during the season's opening weekend. While the Kings endured a lengthy slump that jeopardized their postseason hopes in January due largely to a sputtering offense, the Jets struggled for much of 2013-14, leading to the firing of coach Claude Noel. In recent weeks however, both teams have experienced significant turnarounds. The Kings have won five straight games, while the Jets, under new coach Paul Maurice, have climbed back into the thick of the Stanley Cup Playoff race. In addition to winning five games in a row, the Kings made one of the biggest splashes at the NHL Trade Deadline on Wednesday, acquiring forward Marian Gaborik from the Columbus Blue Jackets in hopes of jump-starting their offense. A game that six weeks ago might have been seen as between two of the League's most inconsistent teams is now between two of the hottest. This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
