This team is a work in progress and Kent needs to have a very good summer with trades/Fas etc but I like our direction ALOT. I have zero problem with the Habs standing pat in an inflated market.

Arguably our 1st and 4th lines are set. Our middle 6 is where the big question is. If we can get a 2nd line center, we'd have Laine and Demidov on the wings. The 3rd line then becomes Newhook, Dach and probably Anderson.

Problem is there’s not a lot out there.

I still say Crosby makes a lot of sense but he has to be willing to move.

While I doubt Crosby goes anywhere, there's a part of me who thinks that if we show promise, he might be attracted by the idea of bringing the cup back to Montreal and Canada as a whole and if he falls short, that's okay as I doubt the Pens have better odds of winning anytime soon the way things are going there.
