The hype around this game is ridiculous. The media is acting like this is Game 7 of the SCF.

Meh, just another game. Could care a less about the division.
 
Don't know the refs or goalies yet, but at some point, the superstitions ask does it even matter?

Anaheim is actually gonna have a 3 point lead after this game.
 
3-6-4 in the last 13 games against the Ducks, while the Ducks are 10-1-2. 1-6 in regulation, 1-1 in OT, 1-3 in the SO.

1-3-2 at home. 0-3 in regulation. 11GF(1.83), 16GA(2.67). Kopitar has 4 of those 11 goals, Toffoli 3, and Martinez 2. The other 2 by Stoll and Brown. So I guess you know who to pick for the first goal of the game.
 
I don't understand why so many of us are surprised by the lackluster regular season effort. The Kings have been and will continue to be a playoff team. It's that "other gear". I am not expecting much the rest of the season other than making the playoffs as others have said.

How many times have we seen this scenario play out, then it shocks everyone what we do in the PO. Some players just play differently in the post season. To them, that is the " real" season.

I guess I could be wrong, or this time it's different. I currently have no reason to believe that though. I'm just glad we aren't in as big of a hole at this point in the year as we have been in the past.

All that said, I'd still enjoy a win here. :laugh:
 
I went to the ballet last night and saw their prediction for today's Kings-Ducks game. Managed to get some of it on video.

 
this one is not about winning the pacific and it's not about getting into the playoffs (as both teams are almost there). it's strictly a prelude to a possible, or even likely playoff series between two teams.

it's very annoying to have a negative record against an opponent in regular season and having to play him in the playoffs, ask any player. it's testosterone related, that's how human body & mind works. winning this one = paving the way to win the cup, and for lak even more because of the lousy record against the ducks in recent games. it's not a must win game, but a win would mean a lot.

Speak for yourselves we have every chance to beat the Hawks and have , don't care who they picked up its about us in big games by them , and you guys should do well as long as there is no game seven
 
Still heated at that cross check Perron put on Quick last game. I have extreme dislike for that guy and his stupid tinted eye shield. It only looks good on you if you're from Slovenia ,tough guy.
