Trotz jumped the gun with the signings of UFA's and then getting rid of Dante Fabbro and Phil Tomasino too many Italians I guess except he didn't receive squat for either player
 
Then Trotz trades Carrier fro Barron brilliant but stupud... a vet for a youngster who will not amount to anything

Well one is for sure the Predators will turn M Woods Pro next year if not sooner and guys like Svechkov among others will get more playing time...

You really weren't actually thinking they would good players...Melanson needs to play regular minutes and not be a Puncher...Eyssi-Not-Enough is not a NHL player...not for a Winning team...he was in TB because of Cap restrictions and nothing else

Kraken look like a team wanting to leave town already as the "For Sale" sign went with Bjorkstarnd

Not many players safe and shouldn't be...might as well bring up 4-5 FireBird players to give them a taste

I didn't expect them to hit it out of the park. I was just asking if they were bringing energy and physicality.

Anyway, can we just come out in the 3rd without another 2-3 players? Just trade them in the middle of the game ,
 
I like Jessica Campbell but when things go bad...players want to voice from someone that has played in the NHL gone through the Wars,Battled and Won at this level...this is not a shot at her as a coach or person...just reality

Sit the 4th line already they don't belong its like bringing up an A ball pitcher and saying its yours son now go on and Win...ain't happening not in this side of the Galaxy not anywhere...maybe a Blackhole where physics breaks down

Nah. Don't like that mentality. A good player does not always make for a good teacher. If she has earned the respect of the locker room (which I don't know), then the situation should not matter.

Bylsma's scheme is too easy to read. We take chances in our own end to get the puck up ice fast, with forwards flying out but... we lack the oomph to win 50/50 puckbattles and our scheme leaves the middle of the ice very open for the other team to counterattack because we stretch the team looking for the stretch pass. Then we make a mistake because the team is playing on the margins all the time and the puck ends up in our own net. Then we're trailing and have to attack more. Rinse and repeat.

For this plan to work we need a bigger, heavier team that is still fast, with forwards that can hang on to the puck and d men who are very sure on the puck preferably with reach so they can cut passing lanes. Also our organization in both the o zone and d zone are not great.

Nashville haven't done anything exceptional, they've simply exploited this plan, same as St. Louis did, same as Tampa did etc etc. This team is defeating itself on too many nights.

Just spit balling you don't have to agree just saying...always wondering cause they just have not been playing well for any long stretches at a time...wondering...

Our team sucks. Let's not pretend that the top-9 is doing all that much better. The rest of this season is going to be a painful one. So is the next. Playing just our top-9 does little to help us now or in the future.

I think this team Chemistry and will to Win...Gourde was that and Tanev too...so guys are just wondering when is their time up in Seattle...

I definitely blame coaching, atleast partially, for the shitty product on the ice. The lack of consistency has been our calling card this season.

I am genuinely at a loss. Francis put this roster together. He also selected Bylsma to coach (unless the rumors are true). The team doesn't have any stars, but I still believe they should have a better record than they do. If Francis is back, he needs to take a good hard look at our team.

- Is Bylsma the right coach?
- Are there players on this team that just don't fit the future or attitude a "young" team needs?

He will need to make some hard decisions and also stop with the "playoff push" crap. All it does is give the fans false hope and make the situation even worse.

I'm at work as well and kinda wondering why Grubauer doesn't draw in for a start vs Nashville. What's he even doing here if he doesn't get a start in a game like this one?
