Smith has jumbo esque vision and passing. It’s a sight to watch. Misa and Smith together would be fireworks.

What’s crazy about smith is that we haven’t even seen his crazy deke game from college. I’d imagine in a year or two as he builds some confidence and a longer leash from the coaching staff, that will come out.

If the Sharks only get the second pick in the lottery, how about:

Musty-Celebrini-Eklund
Chernyshov-Misa-Smith

Yeah, we're still dreaming on some outcomes there, but that could be one hell of a homegrown top six.

This Sharks team with good goaltending (like they've gotten last night and tonight) and they'd be right up there with the Ducks. (Which isn't, like, high up there, but still, it feels that way from where they are now.)

Smith's vision is truly 99th percentile. It's like he has a perpetual advanced UAV soaring high above the sky and mapping out 5 dimensional coordinates in his brain.

Going to be an unstoppable player when he completely adapts and receives some tier 1 linemates to bounce off of that think the game at an even remotely similar wavelength.

I do think he's been trending this way for some time now, but there's something about his play with Mukhamadullin that's particularly...under control? Poised? I don't know, but despite the added challenges Mukh is facing playing on his off side (and you watch closely and there are a few moments each game where he'd basically in a really tough spot on his backhand), those two do look like a really nicely matched pair, and I'd be reluctant to trade Ferraro (except for the right offer) just to keep them together this season and maybe into next.

This has been a weirdly boring game.

So I booted up Everquest and decided to be nature's most fearsome creature: a frog wielding domain over the veil between life and death.



For a 25 year old game it doesn't look that bad. And where else can you play as a tiny purple frog with necromancer powers? Or a cat bard. Or a reptillian kung fu monk? Or an emo dragon-man paladin?Or a basic-ass tolkein/D&D style fantasy human/elf/dwarf I guess.

Mukhamadullin is the real deal. He could play in our top 4 for the next ten years.

If he finishes this season playing like he is, he should start there next season and look for another developing defenseman to build the 3rd pairing next season around.
