Whenever you start to tire of Randy, my recommendation is to watch a Warriors game. Bob Fitzgerald will help you rediscover appreciation for Randy.

I know Fitzgerald is a homer. Don't really like Basketball anymore. I'm just saying Age catches up with everyone and there should be a due date. Of course it's so hard to replace announcers you have heard for 30+ years so I get the reluctance, but I appreciate what the Giants are doing in grooming the next generation of Announcers. I wish the Sharks actually did something similar, maybe just having Randy do west coast games.

Celebrini and Smith will single handedly save this franchise. So many great chances and when they start going in frequently it's game over for other teams.

I can deal with homerism. What I can't tolerate is how he condescendingly talks down to his audience and attempts to educate them on the simplest parts of basketball that nobody needs to have explained to them.

I was reaffirming that he's had terrible luck this year. With a normal PDO he has 24-25 goals right now.

It’s a decent stat, but heavily influenced by your goalie.

It’s just the goalies save percentage with you on the ice + your shooting percentage. Theoretically it should be 100 if you’re not lucky or unlucky.

Celebrini’s had bad luck but also he needs to work on his finishing. He has a great shot, but in close, lifting pucks, putting them exactly where you want them, etc., is something I’d love him to practice this summer.

Toffoli is very good at this — when he’s got a chance, he can almost always put it away, it’s damn impressive.
