Maybe I am in the minority, but I see Stevie's inaction today as a vote of confidence for the young 'uns. I hope he is right and not repeating Kenny's dubious "I like our team" moment.

Which I feel was one of the objectives with this season. More rookies/young players getting into the team. Which is why even if we don't get into the playoffs this season it will still be a quite successful one to me.

Love Kasper at center, he is sagging a little low at times in zone. His skating can make it up, but he he probably needs to be a little bit higher. Teams will eventually catch him on that, but a part of the process. Just a couple feet.

He has carried the confidence over from the first line, isn't deferring.

3 of 4 still playing were not part of last years drive to make the playoffs...let's see what the newest kids can do, because there are more on the way, SY always said he will bring them up when they are ready to succeed and play not to sit and watch.

Losing Copp sucks, but now we have Marco playing center and Elmer on the 1st line and some sandpaper folks on the 4th line, I still have faith the team will have an exciting finish to the season. See if the new kids can add to the veteran kids...we'll see the core forming.

I also like that Kane didn't ask to be moved...I suspect he sees something worth staying for...now they need to start playing f____g hockey and winning some games.

Really impressed with Elmer on the forecheck. He's moving fast once he gets up to speed, and it seems to motivate the opposition to move the puck a little sooner than they might want to.
