I didn’t expect Goodrow to come out but the combination of him and Rempe playing over Brodz is just such a slap in the face to him. Especially after he came up and immediately masked the putrid Bonino stench. Its the classic old man ideas about what a 3rd liner vs 4th liner is

I like that there's more than just me
that depends him/likes him. Thanks for those stats. He DOES bust his ass, and I suppose he has to, to make up for his actual lack of all around talent. Let's face it, we have a little bit of a logjam now. Shame he's sitting, but he really hasn't produced and we need that every once in a while. Not all his fault though, 2 others can be blamed as well.

You misunderstand the purpose behind those moves. Both Edstrom and Rempe had to be sent down on paper to be eligible for the AHL playoffs. Edstrom was actually sent down, so he'll be playing for Hartford tonight and earning his AHL salary. Rempe is still with the Rangers and will be earning his NHL salary. He may have earned his AHL salary for the 1 day he was officially sent down, but you're talking about 1 out of 192.

These are the rules. It wasn't done to cheat him out of a day's wages.

Yeah, and a days wage for him would be what? Equivalent to many peoples weeks or even months salary? Sorry, not sorry for anyone doing something they love, and could be considered NOT a real job.

Yeah he’s waited a long time to get even a brief stint with the big club. Unfortunately the team and most fans have him pigeon holed as “not good enough for top 6, not gritty/defensive enough for bottom 6” so he’s basically just a meme. Although he doesn’t exactly help himself with the constant heat check shots from Narnia skating down the wing

Think it's been 3 long ones, maybe a 4th of 4 days, whatever. But THAT makes the other games really tight like many b2b's and 3 in 4's. Not cool. This month will be tough, but gotta love the month of April. EVERY OTHER DAY. I feel they play better when on anything that seems like a normal regimen.

There's a bunch of playoff teams with 3 more games than us now and of course they won them. Rangers always seem to have a goofy schedule in relation to what we would assume is the norm.

Only thing that matters is to get hot going into round 1, ESPECIALLY Igor. Whether we play Metro 3 or WC 2, team needs to go in HOT.
