I'm sorry to piss on your pity parades but the reason we lost to Tampa last year was not expected grit per 60 minutes.

Youguys keep referring to last year. Copp was a top 6 hard nosed straight line addition. Vatrano was a straight line middle 6 player

Guess what? We fizzled and scored 5 goals in last 4 games vs Tampa in the 4 straight losses.

I don't know, I'm fine with adding two top 6 scoring wingers who have each won Stanley Cups and been at or near point per game in regular season last year and playoffs in 2019&2020. Just me though.
