I'd break up Kreider Zibs but it wont happen because 'defense'... and by defense I mean they get pinned in their zone and are forced to play defense.

Panarin and Kane should have never been paired together to begin with but galaxy brain Gallant couldn’t help himself.
it's "pretty" hockey that doesn't go very far against good teams like Boston although I must say Panarin is skating hard.

Kakko is just too soft of a player to be a difference maker in the league. He has zero edge.

I’m not even talking physicality either. He’s mentally soft, dejected non stop. 9/10 plays he makes with the puck are following too much hesitation and the plays are soft. Soft touches in the NZ, giveaways at the blue line. He doesn’t shoot when it’s there, he wants to stick handle the puck into the net. Not killer instinct. Kid can be a monster on the boards but he’s just too soft he doesn’t bring it nearly enough.

I will say, other than that blooper reel goal where both Tarasenko and Miller just decided to touch shoulders with eachother instead of taking the guy in front of the net against Detroit...

I've been pleasantly surprised with Tarasenkos D zone awareness with coverage and stick and his backchecking.

Kanes been alright, not terrible, not great. Give it time, it needs time to click and work. This is in terms of just offense, we know we didn't bring him in for his defense, which uh I haven't been impressed with. The offense will come for him.

If you told me we'd be on either side of a 1 goal game with the Bruins (the fastest team to 100 pts in NHL history), playing with 11 forwards and 5 defense, I'd take that with a big smile. Youguys should too.
