Kings better wake up for the 2nd. MTL has life now and I really don't want to piss this lead away. I'm so sick of that constantly happening with this team.

Played for about 17 minutes just absolutely crushing MTL then just decided to take a crap.

Hope the 17 minute team shows up for the 2nd.

relatedly, McNabb and Schenn leading the D in icetime.
 
God I hate it when they give up a late period goal, especially like that. Subban just tee'd that one up.

Also, i wished Versteeg had taken the shot instead of stick handling himself out of a shot
 
Versteeg on pace for 9 mins of icetime.

Sutter concerns me sometimes lol , way to make the new guy feel welcomed . Just a weird 1st period. You can see Versteeg has skill though, i like the pickup. I think he will play big for us. I hope Schenn gets re-signed.

Thats what I thought. Senior moment. Bobbled easy d to d pass, and then puts it where DD couldn't reach it. But where was the coverage? Pearson fell down, but he was way over towards the boards anyway. The Habs D look horrible. Many bad passes.

Yeah, I was abnormally pissed off about that goal considering how it looked like it was about to happen anyway. Dudes were just making lackadaisical plays, falling down everywhere, and flubbing passes. I mean, Quick deked in front of his own net, that tells you everything you need to know about the focus in the last few minutes.

I think OD is right about Versteeg, was just trying to endear himself to his teammates instead of making the 'right' play.

Subban just teed that puck the **** up though, what a cannon. I mean, he got to check the wind conditions and everything before lining it up, but still, very impressive finish.

Got my Grapefruit Sculpin ready for the 2nd.

Lets see! The first goal the guy's skate breaks and the next is a faceoff play! All their more normal 5 on 5 chances they blew!! And they had some good ones!! Montreal seems really porous.
 
Kings have no chemistry at all right now. Not even close to where they need to be.
 
Alright. Everyone else is trying to play hockey. If the refs aren't going to control Mike Brown, someone needs to feed him his lunch so he's satisfied.
 
That was a very nice 4-on-4 by the Kings.

Too bad Brown can't support Kopitar's carry into the zone. What an anchor :(
