f*** this team, completely different effort level tonight compared to last game. Where's the energy? Look dead a deflated, got to bring the A game every night. Can't play the F game and expect to win.

That’s been the issue with the team for a long time. They got away with it in the last two years by just having a better collection of players. They will have to learn how to more consistently have that defensive coverage

Right before Newhook's "penalty" Malgin had his stick held in an egregious and obvious fashion in the neutral zone but the ref could not be bothered to enforce the rules.

Watching the LA feed, it’s refreshing hearing some actual breakdown of the gameplay instead of “oh my goodness” all the time.

What are you getting on about? The Avs have been largely carrying play and have been caught lacking twice.

Caught lacking and getting outskated to the outside and taking two penalties in that period. Its not been good.

There were several chances that Korpisalo just got a piece on the puck to knock it wide. But if you enjoy just being miserable all the time I guess that was a your perogative

Who knew that one of the 3-4 worst teams in the league at creating HDCF, are...terrible at creating great scoring chances. Goalies are quaking in their boots at all those point shots, especially from Girard.

Im not sitting here pretending the Avs had a good period there. It wasnt anywhere close to good enough for a team trying to climb the standings.
