So, listen

Joel Armia is not 'what's wrong with the Montreal Canadiens' right now

The obstacles the Canadiens currently face are :
-Figure out rapidly who the 2nd line is going to be with Demidov(and eventually +Hage),
-Figure out rapidly how to get rid of Gallagher (maybe Anderson too if they feel like) and replace them with younger and better players who are already on the way
So fix the 2nd line, fix the 4th line
- Lastly and also already in progress: Rapidly fix RD, figure out what happens with Savard, figure out what happens Mailloux , figure out what you do fir RD on the trade/free agent front, and keep Reinbacher developping and on track

The 3rd line and PK unit of Armia+Evans is in not in any shape or form 'hurting us'
He certainly isn't what's right with the Habs.

yeah, the PPG streak was fun, now I'm not so sure he should re-sign. unless it's on the cheap

I'll give him a chance. I was very enthused with his first games and he's a 2OA pick with a 40 goal season. He has value just on the PP. What I'm wary about is his character. The lockeroom seems strong and it's important he doesn't disrupt it.

So Oilers were close to acquiring Rantanen. Rantanen-McDavid-Draisaitl might have been the best line in NHL history, but for the millionth time the Oilers fail to address the real issues on the team.

Also, as much of a diva/playoff choker Marner is, if negotiations don't go well with the Leafs and he's open to it, I would love to have him.

Let's take Nylander off their hands so negotiation can go well between them and the mental midget.

I hate the TV view of the play in Calgary. It looks like the cameras are too low to the ice.
Well they haven’t been updated since 1989.

It’s the oldest barn in the league, and a terrible place to watch a game live as well… relatively cheap tickets though last time I was there.

I’m going to call a Pezzetta and Lomberg scrap this period. Maybe wake this building and respective teams up.
