I know you jest, but the importance of a unified happy lockerroom can not be understated, and is very under appreciated around here.
Ok you are right but Dvorak & Savard are gone at end of season anyway so what is 21 more games?

Armia may sign but I would have traded him still.

Pez would sign but it is clear that management doesn’t want him.

It’s not just now, it’s the accumulation of the last three seasons.

If they are, at least they want to play unlike Laine who's sitting out during our most important stretch when we have no depth because he has a runny nose. Real team player.
The team doctor and the coach decide whether a player will play. We don't know his condition. And Laine is one of those guys who wants to play at any cost, see refusing surgery, coming back early from injury in Columbus.

Shitty 1st period but holy smokes there's a a lot of negativity in here. Apparently the team is is the worst NHL team ever assembled, management are morons and the coaches who have this historically awful team a hair away from a playoff spot is also somehow the worst coaching staff ever assembled.

Some of you need a hug to relieve some bottled up tension.

And don’t forget to put the blame on Slaf

Pissed, more like.
So, listen

Joel Armia is not 'what's wrong with the Montreal Canadiens' right now

The obstacles the Canadiens currently face are :
-Figure out rapidly who the 2nd line is going to be with Demidov(and eventually +Hage),
-Figure out rapidly how to get rid of Gallagher (maybe Anderson too if they feel like) and replace them with younger and better players who are already on the way
So fix the 2nd line, fix the 4th line
- Lastly and also already in progress: Rapidly fix RD, figure out what happens with Savard, figure out what happens Mailloux , figure out what you do fir RD on the trade/free agent front, and keep Reinbacher developping and on track

The 3rd line and PK unit of Armia+Evans is in not in any shape or form 'hurting us'

100% but having a team that sucks, but they get to make a bunch of money and ne with their friends isn't something anybody wants.

The players have to realize that people will get traded. Players will be, or should be bought out.

There will be change.

Dvorak isn't coming back.
Savard probably isn't coming back.
Armia kind of hoping he isn't back just because the Habs need to switch things up.
Exactly 👍🏼

Jen dressed like this guy on the panel tonight. :)

So Oilers were close to acquiring Rantanen. Rantanen-McDavid-Draisaitl might have been the best line in NHL history, but for the millionth time the Oilers fail to address the real issues on the team.

Also, as much of a diva/playoff choker Marner is, if negotiations don't go well with the Leafs and he's open to it, I would love to have him.

We weren't getting much for Dvorak or Savard, and by all accounts Savard s very much a "glue guy" in the lockerroom. He may not be back, but trading him now would be akin to trading @Runner77 to another teams board. They'd have every right to be pissed, as we would.

I thought they played better as the period went along. First 10 minutes were rough.

I heard that we offered @Habs to some other boards but he would waive his anger clause and he's still here.
