After the first game we went to this year (isles game on mlk day) and the disappointment that followed I was hoping the bruins could turn it around. This game was better, even though my son wasn't thrilled as he's a yotes fan. He had way more fun though, even though his team didn't win.

Jesus Marchand is all heart. He wants it so bad.

Brad was pretty pissed off all game. He is an amazing player and so much fun to watch.

Pasta had a temper tantrum and slammed his stick like 4 times and it wouldn't break. The Equipment guy went to hand him a new one and he wouldn't take it. He got over it quickly and was smiling by the end of the game. I have never seen Pasta that angry.

Nice win. The ride home wasn't bad.

Good night B's fans.

Him coming into that scrum and stapling the guy (deangelo iirc) against the boards was hilarious

The Miller hit reminded me of Boychuk on Ennis in the playoffs against Buffalo from a few years ago.

Great to get the points and win an otherwise sloppy game.

Some bad play in the third that would concern the coaches going into the Rangers game but they overcame some poor reffing and got the important two points.

And the SHARKS pull off the late win against the Leafs in regulation! That's what you get Leafs for playing for the tie!

Just an awful call on Miller by the refs. As usual calling the result instead of the actual hit which was about as clean a big hit as you will ever see.

Agreed

Refs made the call based on the reaction of the team and the player being KOd. Absolute joke of a call, if CM gets any games for that I would be very very shocked.

Good win overall though, Miller looked good too bad had to end his night. Bergeron thinking more offensively, it shows. Chara jumping into the play a lot more, great to see at 39.

All and all it is the Yotes let's see how we handle the Rangers.

Good on Tippet saying the Colin Miller hit was fine after the game.

Classy coach. He's no Elaine or Michelle.

I think Chiller will get time served. Penalty misconduct was unfortunate, but better to be safe there and get him out of the game in cased they missed it, in case things escalated, ala Suger Shawn.

I hope the Bruins tell Miller to make that hit every time.

Watching the replay no arms went up for the hit to make a call. That says it all.

I understand the league is concerned about players getting injured.

But this isn't the first time we've seen, not only a penalty, but an ejection solely because a player is injured. It's a clean hit, period. I understand the league needs to protect its employees. But you can't strip down a physical game the point of "it's a major because a guy got hurt".

I'm glad to hear Burmistrov is saying he is okay. And I wish him the best in his recovery (from at least a concussion). But YOU CANNOT MAKE CALLS SOLELY BASED ON INJURIES. That truly challenges the very integrity of the game.

And now...Miller has to think twice about making a solid and impactful hockey play. It's just a shame. The lesson should be for the Coyotes D-man not to make the suicide pass.

Yeah, I think the league will conclude it's complete BS...but then posture that it was "a dangerous hit" and warn him...warn him to not hit hard, is the message...

If you could cut through all the PR, the league would tell you they want a defenseless player rule like the NFL. They don't like big hits. It's not just the refs, it's a pansy league attitude too.

The safety era in pro sports is out of control.

But no, I don't give the refs a pass. They always say they have to see it to call it...the call of "charging" is a smoking gun they just made up a call after the hit...Miller was gliding, skates on the ice, the whole time. At least make up a head contact call that you can say you missed because it was in the ball park.

Refs getting together and saying "he's hurt. Anyone see anything? No. That was a big hit. Let's go with charging. Sounds good."

That's heinous. They're making up calls. Bush.

The actual custody of the gameplay is administered poorly by the NHL.

It's hard to believe they waste 5+ minutes looking to see if a guy was a hair offside, but no review before tossing a player out of the game.

The NHL doesn't care as long as the money rolls in. Case in point is how long it took them to finally reduce (and implement) the goaltender equipment.

Good point

I'd also like to say I don't think there is anything the coyotes could have done to get to Miller had he remained in the game. He's paired with Killer and Chiller can handle himself well enough. Not like the coyotes are overwhelmingly tough, only person that I think would maybe try something is doan

Expected win but those subpar teams won against us many times in the recent past so i am glad this game is behind us with a proper outcome.

Last few minutes in the 1st period and the beginning of the 2nd got me worried a bit, it didn't go that way and rightfully so.

It seems that guys play like they left heavy backpack at the doors.

7-1!
