So I called this the start of an "eastern road trip" in the OP, but we play Chicago tomorrow night and then are back home against Toronto for our next game on Sunday. I thought if you crossed more than one time zone for an away game you had to spend at least three games on the road or something like that according to the CBA, but I guess not. Maybe it's because we had so many days off going into tonight's game and/or because we have two days off after tomorrow night's game. Or I could just be entirely wrong (wouldn't be the first time).

It's amazing that Utah managed to win because Bill Armstrong is bad at rebuilds and Steve Yzerman is good at them.
