I didn't realize Talbot's numbers have been slipping as of late, I always just feel more confident watching with Talbot in net but he is giving up 4 or so pretty routine lately, and 3 on 19 shots against Tampa... Need some saves from Lyon tonight!

He quoted what Yzerman told him. He wasn’t shy about telling the media what he was told by Yzerman.

I mean, you do have a valid point. However, track record is leaning towards being still at the TD, esp w a quote about it. He’s known to be sneaky and I hope he may do something, but I just don’t see it happening. I’m sure you’ve wondered about some trades that have already happened, and wondered if the Wings could have pulled off that deal. Some deals have been a bit crazy. IE the pens / preds trade. Telling me he wasn’t interested in Schenn for what he was acquired for? Not saying that’s the right move for the Wings, just an example of what he could have done, already. I’m for one very curious to see how tonight’s game plays out as it could have an impact on tomorrow.
