Today and just for the Sens goal-against they extended the whistle blown rule from before the puck enters the net to when the shot is taken. According to this new interpretation, from now on they count it from the shot taken and if the trajectory shows the puck would have eventually crossed the goal line even a minute later it's a goal! So far none of these have ever counted.
