The Rangers downfall is not bending the rules and getting dirty. I’m being 100% serious. This core is too “gentlemanly” and plays the right way.
Florida commits penalties all game all over the ice and they absolutely have a huge advantage because of it. Tons of interference, tons of obstruction, just every shift. Ref can’t call everything. And in doing so they set the standard of what is allowed and isn’t allowed. This group needs to learn to bend the rules. Play dirty.

That goal legit looked like Igor thought it was going wide. Just completely misread it. I don’t care if it’s shot between Trouba’s legs, it was from 40 feet out and was barely even a lob.
Igor gave him a look. Tells me that he isn't happy with the shot blocking attempts. As somebody said above, get your stick in the guys' way. He had his stick like a goalie. Still shouldn't be a goal though

Generally speaking, Florida's best players skate really f***ing hard, and the Rangers just kinda go 70-80%. It adds up.

Florida broadcast shows the puck went off Trouba's skate and our broadcast is saying Igor missed a straight up 40 footer.
We're not really competing against Florida either, unless the President's Trophy has suddenly become impossible...

that's a bad one for igor. would love to see the team bail him out, even if for no other reason than keeping him from dwelling on costing the team because he wears stuff like that for a bit and it hurts his play.
