I was honestly excited at the time….and then i saw his first game and a player went down the right board, deeked left towards the center of the ice, and Beaulieu countered with a counter clockwise spin meaning instead of just leaning to his right, he torqued left and did a spinorama…..and my eyes literally popped out of my face as I had never seen someone in the NHL do that.

Of course the attacking player had a clear path to the net.

Anyways….from that day i was hopeful but secretly skeptical of his IQ and future.

I knew Beaulieu was gonna be garbage the day I saw that picture
