Dallas never gets a break, when pucks do go in their goaltenders are right ****ing there to let the team down with some softies against.

It missed his glove by mere inches. If he would have reacted at all, he could have stopped it. He didn't even move.

or if he had played the ****ing angle instead of sitting down on the goal line and making himself as small as humanly possible.

Two players right in front of him, and he isn't expecting a lethal backhand from that position. Goligoski literally did nothing to either stick check the puck away or use contact and out muscle the guy. All Goligoski did was screen the goalie more and let Anisimov drop his shoulder towards the net.

Ask any goalie what the hardest shot to stop is and they'll say a backhander

add traffic in front of him then going top shelf and pretty hard? good luck soldier.

Well.....on the plus side, Phoenix is up on Vancouver, and the Isles are doing their best to play spoiler, up 2-1 on Winnipeg.

Lost a chance to get a little breathing room, but at least other teams aren't passing us tonight.

I found shots on the empty net most difficult to stop :sarcasm:

No but seriously, backhands are impossible to read.

The Islanders winning tonight would be the biggest bandaid to this loss. PHX/VAN goes either way as long as it's in regulation.
