Leon standing right beside the guy made no effort to check him. All these guys have quit. We’ve got issues with this club right now and it might not just be the goaltending.
This is what I just don't get. They were in FIRST. How they hell did they literally abandon everything that put them there and set it to cruise control? Are they expecting to coast for the remaining 1/4 of the season and expecting to be prepared for playoff hockey?

I don't doubt that bad goaltending can impact the way a team plays, and there have definitely been games where the team dominated but got hung out to dry by their goaltending. That's not what's happening right now- a lot of their mistakes are pure lack of effort or attention. We allowed a breakaway in the first minute of the game. Last game, we were leading by one, Carolina took a penalty in the final minute of the game, and we somehow allowed the Canes a shorthanded breakaway. I have a really hard time pinning that on the team not trusting their goalies. The team has their heads up their collective asses right now (goaltenders included), and they need to get their shit together quickly.

The fight is gone for these goaltenders, they've given up on them.

It's human nature, the trust is gone. They're just tired. It's like that one idiot coworker you have that f***s everything up all the time.

At a certain point your will to keep hustling for them dies.

It's even worse because Skinner gets spit shines all day every day.

What's up with this team lately? Seems like the lines have no cohesive chemistry, lack of trying/passion too.
Effort still required to win games.

And when we don’t have effort we have terrible goalies that can’t keep us in games

It’s a poor formula

Yes. With this group the simple answer is yes.

97 is gone, no chance he re signs in this clown show

He's been a huge part of the problem this year, and honestly, JJ and Knob are here because of him, and he has input on the roster moves, no question

This is his team. Maybe he'll quit on them like a loser though

they've given up on eachother, not just the goalie.

No one skated over to Hyman to check on him after the high hit.
