Thanks, I shall continue.Ahh body language experts have weighed in and Skinner is a douch as well. Give it a rest.
The old -3.5 GSAA period.
A standout even for this tandem.
Completely agree! Finally get to the mountaintop, put themselves in the position they've chased season after season - and then play their worst hockey in yearsI just do not get the sense of entitlement with these clowns. Before this atrocious slide, they were in first place. Then they decide to put it in park, thinking they had it made, and have *completely* abandoned the principles of sound defensive coverage, play, being dialed into the details and prepared to play. They have been absolute jokes, losing to bottom tier teams booking tee off times for the spring and still turned in no effort when they should be comfortably beating these opponents.
they keep happening...its a team issue. Yes we need better goalies, but the team is also letting this happen with efforts like this. They are't committed to playing hard hockey, they are easy to play against, play soft and perimeter hockey. A new goalie doesn't help in games like this, or the Philadelphia and washington games. The answer needs to be in the room first, the players need to look in the mirror and decide if they want to win or not. Those 2nd and 4th goals can't happen at the NHL. Get a goalie Stan
They've been terrible. They also had a breakaway and a wide open chance of off a McDavid pizza towards the end of the period. The team gave up like 3 scoring chances.
Pickard is the biggest reason we’re down 3
Have you ever played hockey when you don’t trust your goalie…Our entire defensive system has really fallen apart in the last 10-15 games. So clear that this team needs help on the back end and of course in the net
Half a dozen other players have made just as bad if not worse mistakes this period including McDavid, Drai and Bouchard. Not sure if we can single out one dumdum this game. Pickard would be it if picking one.Connor Brown, just a horrible f***ing hockey player with a Lame Donkey rush off ice, so slow its unbelievable, gets nailed with a hip check losing puck clean, Ducks reverse puck for oddman break almost score, then score immediately off faceoff for the 3-1 goal.
But due to Brown giving up the puck so easily like has happened so many times this season. get this useless turd off the ice.
Oilers playing like shit but that lame ass rush stood out to me.
Legitimately I was kiddin for awhile but goddamn lolMan .... I legit am ready to start in net at this point. Not even kidding. It can't get worse than this. Holy shit
The teams effort is the reason the goalies not stopping unscreened shots that should be saved?they keep happening...its a team issue. Its bigger than goaltending now.
Yep. So people not remember this team when we had Talbot whose game was allowing the 1st shot on goal constantly. We would go on some heater in a game come out blazing with chances the other goalie makes a few good saves and Talbot would allow shots that were barely clearing attempts and then the team would crumble. We had everything, the ducks could barely string a pass together until that goal.
The team needs a goaltender and needs it bad.
That's exactly it. This is a low energy team that is also now older and slower after last season, the difference between this season and the last 2 is noticeable. That was their peak, the '22-'23 and '23-'24 season. This is now a team past its prime IMO.Ducks smelling blood around an oilers team that is looking slow as molasses. They're quicker everywhere jumping on pucks and what a good rising young club can look like. Not hard to watch this Ducks club.
Must have a lot of hate to make nonsensical posts. The guy isn't even playing and you still rag on him. Thanks, I shall continue.
