Pickard hasn't been making the saves but the team is absolutely terrible, just like they were the previous 12 games or so. Goaltending is a big issue obviously but the problems lie way deeper than that. This is the worst Oilers team of the last 3 years IMO

2-1 and 2mins left in period, Connor Brown, just a horrible f***ing hockey player with a Lame Donkey rush up ice, so slow its unbelievable, gets nailed with a hip check losing puck clean, Ducks reverse puck for oddman break almost score, then score immediately off faceoff for the 3-1 goal.
But due to Brown giving up the puck so easily like has happened so many times this season. get this useless turd off the ice.

No, he's literally a replacement level player. He's been waived on a league minimum deal no less than 6 times and not been claimed.
He's dog shit. So is Skinner. The fact that Pickard has better stats then Skinner is nothing but more of an indictment on Skinner.

Ducks smelling blood around an oilers team that is looking slow as molasses. They're quicker everywhere jumping on pucks and what a good rising young club can look like. Not hard to watch this Ducks club.

At least you didn't buy tickets thinking "hey it's the ducks, should be easy...."
I just do not get the sense of entitlement with these clowns. Before this atrocious slide, they were in first place. Then they decide to put it in park, thinking they had it made, and have *completely* abandoned the principles of sound defensive coverage, being dialed into the details and prepared to play. They have been absolute jokes, losing to bottom tier teams booking tee off times for the spring and still turned in no effort when they should be comfortably beating these opponents.
Ahh body language experts have weighed in and Skinner is a douch as well. Give it a rest.

We had everything, the ducks could barely string a pass together until that goal.
The team needs a goaltender and needs it bad.
The D structure has broken because of 2 months of poor goaltending, now the whole system Knob/Coffey play is out of sync.
Good job Oilers management. Totally was no risk in gambling on this tandem, hope they are satisfied with the smell of their own farts and their "Smartest Person In the Room" trophy.

I thought the Ducks were struggling mightily until they saw every other shot start to go in. That creates some jump and deflates the other team.
