Theres nothing you can tell me that shows an NHL coach would want three players to lineup on a 3 on 2 that effectively makes it a 2 on 2. And if an NHL coach allows that it tells me he doesn't know X's and O's.It's just something people say when they are upset at the score. Apparently we've never had a coach who is good at X's and O's lol
This defense has 5 players, 3 of them are bottom pair d.So, this is amusing. About the only good thing that Tippett can do is shoot the puck. He kinda sucks at all other aspects of hockey. Somehow, we've allowed him to get open (and I mean completely open) randomly like 4 or 5 times this game. Thankfully it has only bitten us in the ass once.
But this defense has been . . . bad.
How the f*** did Tro miss the net!? I can't even fathom how he'd miss the net at that angle.
Literally all breakouts work. That's why they exist in the first place. They aren't working for the Rangers because they're standing still or going 1/4 speed for some stupid reason and nothing works when you're not moving.yeah. our transition is just them not executing
almost like that's by designLiterally all breakouts work. That's why they exist in the first place. They aren't working for the Rangers because they're standing still or going 1/4 speed for some stupid reason and nothing works when you're not moving.
