FYI, The best pizza in Vegas is downtown off the strip at a place called Good Pie. Brooklyn guy opened it up & makes phenomenal pizza. One of the best grandma slices in the country.
I took an uber downtown a few months ago and driver was a ny transplant and told me thats the best pizza in vegas. Not exactly a hgh bar but I'm optimisitc for my next trip. Di Fara's and Grimaldis were huge disappointments.

I was a regular in there when I still lived in town, its really that good. I say this not comparing it to Vegas pizza. It holds it own against top notch NYC pizzerias. The regular slice is very good but the grandma is the star of the show. When you go, hopefully you have some friends with you so you can order a fresh grandma pie & get the full experience. Sometimes if you order slices, they can be inconsistent with the way the staff reheats them.

The forwards will be fine skating without Leschyshyn. Missing Lindgren and Miller hopefully won't cost us.

There’s a secret pizza place in the Cosmo? I’m flying out April 3rd, I need to know now lol

I made an effort to try and find it, and honestly it's entrance hides in plain sight. (down in the main levels where all the shops and stores are. A staff worker in the mall gave me a hint because I was getting to the point I was going to start gnawing my arm off.

It basically looks like corridor that utility/janitorial and other mall staff would use...then as you wander down the corridor you start to notice pictures on the wall of celebs etc. Then it opens up into a small pizza spot.

@Boris Zubov indicated it can be hit or miss, I lucked out that both visits for me were awesome.

edit: or google can help you really pinpoint it ;)

Yeah if you go during the day between 2-5, you can get in & out of there. If you go anytime in the evening, it's a crap shoot. If there's a concert at the Cosmo or the nightclub Marquis let's out, forget it, you're waiting an eternity. I rarely ate there, maybe once a year, as a local it's just too much of a hassle.

When Good Pie opened in 2018, that became my 2nd home. Although there is also Grimaldis, which my girlfriend preferred when we still lived there. They have a few locations on & off the strip & it's a solid pizza option.

I will make a concerted effort to visit this place whenever I return to Sin City! Thank you for that!

Potentially being down Lindgren and Miller both for these next 3 games is going to be rough, especially tomorrow being the 2nd of a B2B and Saturday being 3rd in 4 nights (well that game is at 1pm so even worse) and being against Boston.

Are we just going to see 5D?

As an added bonus, Good Pie is located downtown in the arts district of Vegas which is experiencing a revival, plus there's a pretty decent brewery scene & one of the coolest "speakeasy" type bars you'll ever find called the Silver Stamp. Like Secret Pizza, if someone doesn't tell you about it, you would never know it's there. It's just an old brick industrial building with no sign outside. Once you walk inside, you'll feel like you went back in time to the 70s & are hanging out in your buddies' basement with the wood paneling on the walls & tons of old beer signs & knick knacks all over. You can walk there from Good Pie, but I'm pretty sure they're only open at night.

If you're there during the day, you can walk to Able Baker brewing instead, where you can try Ryan Reaves' beers. He has a collaboration going with them.

For tonight yes, but with the emergency call up, I’d imagine we see Hajek, Jones or Robertson recalled for Thursday and Sunday.

Rangers are permitted to dress less than 18 skaters today because they don’t have the cap space for a call up.

Kreider - Zibanejad - Tarasenko
Panarin - Trocheck - Vesey
Lafreniere - Chytil - Kakko
Motte - Goodrow

Mikkola - Fox
Schneider - Trouba
Harpur

Miller, Lindgren and Kane are on the active roster and count against the cap but are unable to dress due to suspension, injury, and personal reasons.

Kane fills out the forward corps tomorrow. Assuming Lindgren is not available tomorrow, Rangers will be permitted to exceed the cap tomorrow with an emergency recall (Hajek or Jones?) to round out the defense.

What is the rule on keeping this player up once guys are able to play?

You know these guys are humans and just packing up their shit instantly when traded and going to a new city requires some coordination.

I mean this is a special situation where Kane knew he was coming since last Thursday.

Considering our roster situation it's a bit of a shock he's not playing tonight. He's not at fault it's just shocking when everything is considered

I’m old enough to remember when Brassard, John Moore and Ryan Clowe were acquired and played for us on the same day…

Actually, it feels like that happened quite a bit back in the day. You acquired a player that day, they rushed to the arena, got there 15 minutes before puck drop and played.

And certainly the player always plays if the game is the following day.

Combine that with dressing 16 guys tonight. Just strange.

Man did Miller pick the worst possible time to do this lol

The last time there was a game that was on both TNT and MSG, I was blacked out even though I am not in the NY market. I'm hoping that doesn't happen again tonight. I checked the listings on the Philly sports channels, and they are showing NBA and college basketball tonight, so if TNT winds up blacked out again, I am SOL.

I'm thinking this scenario is really just the Rangers wanting Kane's debut to be at MSG - simple as that.

If we had like 3 road games in a row after the trade, they wouldn't do it but knowing they have a game tomorrow night at home makes me think that it's simply we want his debut to be at MSG and it also gives him an extra day or two to settle in to the city with his family.

Certainly seems to be the most likely reason.
