If you keep playing 16 players, you're going to get sloppy play. This isn't beer league guys, it is the NHL, it takes its toll. Everyone just calm down.
Hopefully those missing two can make and receive passes.
No one in this lineup seems to be able to.

I mean, typical mediocre period from the Rangers. I just wish they'd start to fix the things that ail the team with more urgency or consistency.
It's always the same stuff.
A period like that, far too much stick work not enough taking the body. A perfect example was Motte doing a fly by along the defensive half-wall. Could have gotten the puck out, but instead just waved his stick and let the guy go past him. I don't love it when Panarin does that. But this is Tyler F'ing Motte. C'mon.
They were overcommitting on the PK. Multiple times they sent 3 or 4 guys into the corner on the PK. Like who does that? It wasn't just on the goal.
Overall, a bit loose, a bit soft and lax puck management.
At this point, I'm resigned about it. But it's a team identity issue. Far too wide spread to simply blame a few dudes. It will need to be resolved by round 1 game 1. Flyers have very few offensive weapons. And not great speed. Devils won't be so easy.

I expect a much cleaner 2nd.spending more time in their zone,drawing some penalties.make them defend
Let's hope we can outscore our problems ala Colorado last year
