I dont like the offsides challenge rule, it's stupid but ok..at some point bruins need to work better on being ****ing ONSIDES, like it's an issue that can be improved...dont cut it so close.

True. It's been a problem all year. There was a stretch where you could challenge offsides on em every time...

The offside challenge is a major turn off. Fans get so excited for a goal (A league that wants more goals) then it gets taken away. Because of a split second. Human error belongs in the game. This is a bad product.

My oldest brother is always b******g about the officiating, and my response continues to be, "Greg, get over it. Referees are human. Mistakes are inevitable. Teams have to play through it."

Still believe that. Yet, for two seasons now, this effing stupid rule has sucked the life out of the game. Don't like that goal? Want to slow the scoring club's momentum? Every coach in the league will opt for the "offside challenge." it's effing stupid.

Like the shoot out. Like the "loser point." Like a laughable player safety dept., with one rule, poorly implemented, for mid level offenders, and another, implemented not at all, for "stars" like Malkin (sic). Like legislating fighting out of the game; not out of conviction, but fear of lawsuits per concussion/CTE. Like worm Bettman denying evidence of the latter in the NHL.

Like expansion in Las Vegas, and hey, AZ is good for the league! Winter Classic? Let's ruin the mystique of that, too. Outdoor games for all, all the time. Just give us our cut.

Sorry to be cynical & apologize for ranting in this thread. But, as Moltisanti correctly observes, ""This is a bad product." it's uptempo & very entertaining, but the NHL is poorly run, by dopes at best, knaves at worst.
