I get that refs make mistakes. I don't expect perfection.

But you have to be completely sure a penalty was actually committed before calling it. The back referee saw the fall, and just assumed King hooked him.

Same as the Brown no-goal; action ref lets it go, back ref calls the visual. Both horse ****. Disappointing reffing tonight yet again.

Generational dive by Eichel, what a ****ing baby. Sabres don't want to fight through their checks and are getting rewarded for being soft as a baby's butt.

Ristolainen must be upset there's no one Weal's size to pick on tonight.

Scuds on track for 15 minutes
but Doughty still on track for 30

I'm happy to be wrong about Scuderi so far BUT our defense is slow as molasses again with Scuderi, McNabb, Schenn out there.

Not able to watch the game, but how's the missile (scud) doing?

Way better than I expected him to be, solid stick work, doesn't look too slow, and has an assist. Granted its one game, but if he can keep it up he's a welcomed addition.

That elite stick apparently never left?

I think he looks really slow, but he's reading well enough to be where he needs to be before the play arrives, those two things were always his forte. If he still has them, then wow.

So, like 2012 with Scuderi, Greene & Mitchell?

That was the reference, yep.

Just funny that we got away from it and came right back is all. And don't forget Greene is skating too.

That depth will be a very good problem to have, don't get me wrong, just thought it was funny that we started the season with 6 guys who could really move the puck and only one really slow one in McNabb and have morphed back into the same mold as 2012-2015 minus some righties
