Is there another captain in the league that stays on the ice and congrats every member of the team as they head off? I know its a tradition he and Chara started here, but I don't know of another captain that does this as frequently as Bergy. It's the little things that bonds team's.

Look at Hathaway and Orlov. They're like... " Umm, OV would be at the buffet table by now, is this what a real captain does? "
It's crazy to think that he's worn a letter since his third season in the league. Not sure anyone else currently in the league has that tenure.

I don't know who the next captain will be, but imagine trying to be next in line after Chara and Bergeron. No pressure lol.

Although they seem to be great at developing leaders on this team.

Lauko doesn't sound like a guy who wants to be traded

I hope he gets to stay in the lineup this time.....the kid has some serious wheels and might be a good addition for the playoff run
I feel like he's this years Jake DeBrusk. He's gotta stay ffs! I've always liked him from back in the preseason of 2018 in Czec Republic

Toronto has twice as many losses and ten fewer regulation wins. And our goal differential is more than double theirs.

And they are in second place.

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Which Toronto team? This new one or the old one. Dubas is under the gun, making too many wholesale changes IMO. He should've done it a year or two ago. Hopefully, he's made yet another timing blunder this year. Sorry Steve Dangles!

When the Bruins won in 2011 they acquired alleged PP specialist Tomas Kaberle,

Dmitry Orlov is looking like Kaberle on steroids. What a trade Sweeney made!

Nothing recent. He has always been good with a lot of skill. Played a huge role in the Caps Cup year. Due to team personnel and coaching systems he never really was able to fully showcase his offensive skills. But he has always been rock-solid and a well-rounded d-man. It was a huge pickup for the Bs. Still hard to believe DS was able to swing a deal for such a quality player given the cap situation.
True that ....well said , again maybe I am overconfident at this time , but it seems to me like he has a new lease on his hockey skills and talent now...lol

Buffalo fell apart at the end. They hung tough for a good portion but just couldn't break through this D we have now which is clearly elite. Pity it wasn't a shutout.

I hope Marchand's not hurt, but if he is I hope he can go on LTIR. There's still a few hours to find a competent replacement.

next to the bench
Pastrnak got second star and when it was announced he waived to crowd and turned around and gave the stick he autographed to Susan aka @Ladyfan
Nice to see you tonight, Dan.

Just in. Wow what a night.

Pasta was very sweet to give me his signed stick at the end of the game. I was surprised. Maybe I look like his grandmother.

Had a blast tonight.

Orlov is great. He looks smaller in person.

Lauko had a fun night. Big smiles.

Someone who works for the Bs said they believe Brad will be OK. Precautionary.

@Ladyfan Your daughter with the stick from Pasta?!? That's so 😎!!
My daughter is in Calif. Pasta gave a stick to me!

Really cool that he gave you his signed stick on the day his big contract was announced. Glad to hear that Brad will be ok. Can't lose him.

And dont forget the kfc bucket you owe me. I'll bring the Coleslaw.

So don another general manager award or what? What a magician. Hes top 5 in league for sure.
I think Donny Boy may end up with a trophy himself this year....only time will tell , because he seems to be making every correct decision with the way this team is being build right in front of our eyes right now. They need to shake off those two injuries recently being speed and leadership players. Hope they can make it back before the year is over. Other than that ......Fantastic Day
