Yes, there is not a lot of runway left or margin for error. Leap frogging teams is not easy to as we have seen numerous times in the past.

I initially thought it was GI, but looking at the replay it seemed like Ullmark's leg went under the Caps players rather than being obstructed by it, and they likely deemed that the contact wasn't sufficient to prevent Ullmark from establishing his position.

In the end, we bounced back and tied it, we didn't lose because of that call, we lost because we couldn't put them away with a PP in OT and lost the coin flip that is the shootout. I really don't see why we have shootouts with 3v3 OT, just create some sort of rule against the regroup teams do where they bring it out of the OZ and run the OT till someone scores.

I don't think that changed much, if we didn't allow it we wouldn't have pulled the goalie to tie it up so that goal never happens and we probably end up in OT either way.
