Whenever we lose a shootout, I would have liked to have seen different shooters.

I would have liked to see Pinto and Tkachuk over G and Batherson but I won't lose any sleep over it.

Really need better starts down the stretch. They were terrible early against San Jose, and they nearly lost tonight's game in the first 5 minutes. Can't keep putting yourself in a position to have to storm back.

Need a lot more from Norris and Batherson too.

The games against NYR on Saturday and Detroit on Monday are huge.

Other than the first 10 minutes like that is this team. Stingy. And scrappy goals. No player is saving this team. It has to be scrappy and by committee alll the time.

Most good teams have two players better offensively than stutzle. This team is a Jacques Martin team. Defend and transition and forecheck. We’re not optimally built for it but that’s what we are.

@Burrowsaurus I think what really irks me is we know if it was a reverse situation in which Gregor and co. was on a 4-2, it wouldn't have lead to goal. Likewise, even when screened Thompson directly went out of his way to ensure he saw the puck, my main criticism towards Ullmark.

It is scaring me how weak mentally he looks.

His playoff numbers are a good indication of that. He looks really weak mentally sometimes. He was fumbling on the ice on his own.

He should have saved the Wilson goal. He was moving scared all game. Made a couple big saves near the end but Thompson clearly outplayed him.
