Came back for overtime so that's something with a team that rarely (successfully) fights back when they fall behind early.

Kind of surprised they didn't find a spot for Pinto in the shootout.

Overtime PP was a bit disappointing. Not enough movement to make the Capitals players or goalie move.

I don't mind Tkachuk in front of the net for periods of time but it would be nice to see him float off to a side or into the middle of the slot and force the Capitals to adjust over and over instead of just standing in front of the net. It seems Stutzle was the only guy really moving on that unit.

Yeah Green never seems to play a hunch for the SO or ride the hot hand. Beats me why Batherson gets a shot when he’s obviously not feeling confident right now.

Norris is good in the shootout and loves to do the little delay sling/wrister into the top right corner, which would have been perfect against Thompson.

Pinto has been hot, too. I would have liked to see those 2 and Stu.

I think it's reasonable to expect the coach to go with the guy who has two goals in the game over the guy who looked like shit.
