GDT: Game #60: HNIC: Oilers @ Hurricanes - 5 PM - CBC

I got sick and lost my sense of taste too. I thought for sure it was covid. You can buy tests now, so I got one and tested negative twice. It's some weird as hell bug.

Ekholm was sick before 4N as well, wasn't he? Pretty sure he missed the Toronto game due to illness. Not great if he's had something for a month.

Oilers have to be one of the worst teams in the league at managing their players. But then nothing would surprise me when it comes to management and the Oilers. It’s an oxymoron. Only the Oilers could’ve f***ed up player management as badly as they have during the McDavid years.

Case in point, Savoie is scratched. They literally learned nothing from the offer sheet fiasco this past summer. With the inflating salary cap, the power has swung back to the players so maybe let’s not jerk our only viable rookie prospect around that’s capable of playing NHL games.

I had a bad congestion cold for a month around Christmas. Couldn't smell - taste was a bit off. Don't think it was covid, but was weird losing the sense of smell.

Need a win, Captain obvious here! Really hope Mcdavid takes this one on his shoulders because he hasn't done that for awhile. Please Calvin, be strong in net, need a win really really bad here.

Sad about the Maui Tacos news. Best fastfood chain ever. From reviews though apparently it had gone down bigtime in quality. Who needs a cockroach in the salsa?

Never tried Maui Tacos. Don't think they were out west. Went to Barbarito a few times. For fast food it's pretty good. 3 huge bean tacos, nachos and salsa for like $13.00.
Pretty fresh ingredients.

Had a Chronic Taco by my home which was excellent but they closed down.

Does anyone else think it's mind boggling how bad we are at Left Defense when we have to put Stecher there on his off side?

We used to have a leftorium now it's a wasteland.

I just had a realization watching the Draisaitl reaction video after last game that appeared to be directed at Skinner. Did he mock Skinner's pregame ritual where he shoves the net? Almost looked like he did lol.

Where’s you buy them? I tried some pharmacies and they had none. It be good to have in the future for time off from work related purposes.

This is the reasons many of us are now watching what Vancouver and Calgary are doing. Last 5 games Nucks have gained 4 pts and Flames 5. We have a 7 and 8 point lead over them respectively. I realize it is about home ice but that is the least of our problems right now

The report I saw when we got him was he was done for the year. But he is now listed as week to week.

THere are so many illnesses going around in the US right now without any mitigating factors thanks to their science denying leadership. They canceled the flu vaccine council.
