Really? Jackets have more takeaways and Canadiens have more giveaways? I thought it should be reversed?

Maybe Dano can show Wennberg how to score

Haha yeah hilarious

Dano and/or Rychel should've been here longer than Wennberg. If you wanna go on about the game limit fine. Dano should've been here this whole time, not Wennberg. Not even just the points, but just his total overall impact he has on the game/ice, is probably double of Wennberg. **** he'd be better than Wennberg on the PP and the PK.

This was a sad day for CBJ fans. Every bit of optimism that carried over from the end of last season (there was a lot) is completely gone. This team is big mess. Fans deserve better.

Dano does something very important that nobody (except Calvert), including Johansen does. He plays INSIDE. Watch him. He is not outside, skating along the boards. He is within 10 -15 feet of the net ALL THE TIME. He is there looking for the rebound, looking to wack it back into the net. He is not trying to make the pretty 30 foot shot from outside.

And frankly for all the kvetching about Clarkson, maybe we need a guy like him. Clarkson sounds like another guy who plays inside, gets into the greasy areas. Our biggest scoring problem is that we do not have enough of that kind of guy. We have guys who love to pass it around the perimeter to D men who shoot it from the blue line. Indeed, our entire offense is based upon the outside shot. Dano (and Calvert) gives us something different. Someone whose wheels are going all the time and are ready to go inside to get those dirty, greasy goals. And if Clarkson can do what he has done throughout his career and add to that inside presence, he will be a steal for us.

Go Marco, you are what this team badly needs.

I caught the last five minutes... another stinker. Dano with a goal is good, Joey getting benched at the end not so good..

Dumping Horton's salary was a good move by Yarmo regardless of Clarkson's shortcomings..

It's been a tough year, as I've said before the team should prepare for next season now and play the young guys as Dano etc. if possible.... They may even get a higher draft pick killing two birds with one stone..

Wiz at the end looked horrible...

Just trying to blend in and not be traded.

I legitimately think Wisniewski is playing worse than usual to stay here. I know he is usually bad but tonight he was BRUTAL!

Tropp and Dano were the only guys that seemed to care at all. Done with so many guys on this team it's not even funny. Basically if we don't have Jenner we don't have ****.

I was at the game tonight and can only say it was horrible. I've not seen many games with less energy. Only Dano provided any spark. The most exciting play of the night was the no goal by Tropp. Those Who had tickets for the empty seats were the smartest and no doubt happiest group of people

Speaking of Dano I know everyone goes gaga over Wennberg and maybe he will blossom into an outstanding player. But right now Dano is far more productive.

wonder if this one has finally nailed it in for ca and the other playoff crowd. :(

I'm not as gung ho as last Friday, that's for sure....but right now I'm just hoping Dubi is ok and back Saturday. Not giving up until we are out of it. Last 2 games we missed huge opportunities to make up big ground, so everything I said would happen has EXCEPT for us winning, haha. Other teams are doing just like I predicted. If we could have won the last 4 winnable games, we would be sitting 3 points back of Boston. So you can see things can change quickly in less than a weeks time. I'm not giving up hope but my God, Bob needs to come back Saturday.

EXACTLY! I don't get why anyone would dislike this trade, Horton is FINISHED. Anything at all that Clarkson does is bonus. Especially with the reveal that Horton wasn't insured. Tons of players go to the black hole of Toronto and fail. You know, Foligno wasn't much of a scorer in Ottawa and he's taken off here, Clarkson is only 30, give the dude some support, god forbid he reads what these boards say and sees all the hens clucking about his freakin contract, WHO CARES! We have never even come CLOSE to approaching the cap!
