If that happens, do you promise to follow him?

CBJ win 5-4 OT. It will be a wild game and very exciting. I know this because I won't be able to attend. The last game I couldn't attend was the crazy Thursday Washington game around Christmas.

At least I get a night away from the Wiz hater in my section and his lackeys. Nice guy, but I wonder sometimes why he even bothers to be there. It's quite literally all he talks about or yells about. It's so unpleasant that at least 8 of us want to move next season to get away from this jackwagon. I'd complain to the usher...but he's deaf so....

Honestly, I would rather sit with people that I disagree with their HOCKEY opinions than the people that normally sit behind me, they don't pay one bit of attention to the game, they talk about business for the first period, their stupid kids high school baseball the 2nd period and usually leave in the third, thankfully, regardless of the score. Corporate dbags and their yappy wives.

Not trying to bash on your opinion, but how can you actually bring yourself to watch your favorite team, and actually root for them to lose? Doesn't it kinda defeat the purpose of watching the game? I'm genuinely curious of your reasoning.

Personally, I don't think I could ever root against the CBJ , no matter how frustrating they are. I couldn't do it in 11-12, and I can't do it now.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Let's say that I don't actively root for them to lose just that I am not at all displeased when they lose at this point in the season. I'm looking at the end result and what I believe will benefit the team more in the long run. Obviously (to me) winning the lottery and drafting McD will do more for the Jackets than finishing strong (and even making the playoffs imo). Picking sooner in the draft has historically produced more impact players than picking later. That is the only basis for hoping the results produce a better drafting position.

At the beginning of the season I was on the this is our year train. Once fate handed us a bunch of lemons I have opted to root for lemonade.

yeah, this why my wife finally stopped going to games. She couldn't take being around those type of "fans". I took the kids to that St Louis ass whoopin 7-1, and we sat surrounded by Blue fans in their jerseys. Great seats, great conversation all game long, even the arguments were fun. I don't mind hockey fans from other teams, they are after all still fans of hockey, the most defining major sport to follow.

Everyone on here knows I love to argue so I LOVE sitting amongst opposing fans and having some fun back and forth and maybe a good old fashioned fist fight after (if you're a pens fan or chi fan) jk...kinda

But it annoys me and my mom especially, my girlfriend can tune them out, but as the whiskey flows, I get more annoyed with their blabbing, especially if we are losing, and usually say something loud to my girlfriend to mock them. For example, the big dilemma that the hens were yapping about last game was their precious little thing got asked to the Sadie Hawkins dance and they went on and on and ON for a whole period about how they didn't like the guy or girl or whoever and what they were wearing and something about the other kids parents and blah blah blah, so I said loudly enough for the whole section to hear, to my girlfriend, "It's a shame our little Susie couldn't go to the Sadie Hawkins this year after catching a case of the Polio again"

I have an unusual sense of humor, we don't even have kids, but I howled about that one for a solid 5 minutes in my drunkenness.

Nope. Furthermore, firstly, on the place Richards I step down still in November after 2-15-1. Myself, I have courage and I can admit their mistakes, as and no result, unlike HCTR. Secondly, I believe that now support HCTR can only close relatives, after fail in this season.

5-4 win? Five scores when Carey Price in net? I would like to believe.
