The team could have made the playoffs if not for a few things. Management dropped the ball there this summer. They needed an insurance policy for Dach, more depth at defense on the right side and some players came in unprepared like Newhook and Slaf.

A lot of things went wrong.

- Dach didn't come back well
- Laine and RB got hurt
- The whole team had a terrible camp which contributed to Roy not making the roster

The General only had over 50 assists once in his illustrious career and Hutson is about to blow that mark away in his first year.

I think it's safe to say that the General was more than offensive numbers. A solid General in the back end, the best outlet pass on our team for a very long time, a charmer in front of media, a proud Canadian citizen, a dominant player.

I believe that next year will be totally different with Ivan Demidov coming. I don't said that he will put 100 pts in his 1st year, but this guy, will make a lot of hype for the players and everyone will be better.
