Honestly sort of a relief in a way. You just know now there's 0 chance whatsoever this team sniffs a cup.

They may defeat the Habs and hey - they might just beat the Jets. But when it comes to a series against the Bolts, Canes, Avalanche or even hell the freaking Islanders - how are they possibly going to win that? This isn't a team that goes to war and does whatever it takes to win. This looks like a group just waiting for the clock to hit 0 so they can go enjoy some summer fun with their millions of dollars.

I hate to say I told you so but several months ago When we didn't win in 7 games the signs were there. Even when we were winning, they were not good wins but again the bad habits were evident. People that watch the games without rose colored glasses know what I'm talking about.
I will give credit though. The 3 game spanking we gave the oilers in their barn was the best hockey I have seen this recent team play. I thought we were onto something but no.
