Blueger is getting the chance to be a scoring line forward. That might be the best winger combo of the lines or equal. Having Zucker and Kapanen could make the 3rd line we have waited for years. Blueger seems to be showing the offensive abilities with Kapanen and switching Sceviour with Zucker could make a very good scoring line that also is good defensively.

Only problem with this is Rodriguez still on the top line. I think the other lines all look fine. If those other lines work Rutherford will look for an upgrade at some point over Rodriguez.

Blugs is no Rodrigues, one unlucky play and he is back to 4th line, that's how it usually goes.

I agree, Kapanen played really well with Blueger. This gives Blueger his shot to prove he is more than a bottom 6 forward. Blueger did really well in his first full year given the assignment he had as a defensive shut down line. Blueger has shown he might have the offensive upside to do more and now he has 2 wingers that will offer him that opportunity. I also think McCann and Rust can get the job done. The only thing I don't like is Rodriguez on that top line. I guess that was what Roslovic was going to be for? I still think Rutherford will get another RW before playoffs. If he does that will be a very strong group of forwards.

Because over a bigger sample size the team would likely be better off with them playing more minutes and in the top 6 given the current roster.
