Something isn't right. You have a bonafide weapon on the powerplay. Hardest shot in the league. Yet we ****ing never see it. The **** is wrong with Weber? Shoot hard, injure someone who cares. Nobody wants to face this shot. Yet...

Rangers are overplaying him.

Everyone blaming Price like we are supposed to win this game 1-0.. give your heads a shake

You win by allowing less goals than you score. No matter how much Habs offense sucks, this was a highly stoppable shot.

Good save here.

It's not one goal. It's the time of the goal. That is a key momentum builder if you kill that pp. A goal like that can deflate a team.

Difference is when Price has given those up, we can't seem to respond enough. Lundqvist has allowed a couple softies himself but it's the response that counts. Technically, the OT winner he allowed was a "five hole" goal too. But it's telling that most of our other goals came with undressing him and his defenders, aka perfect plays. And he has been beaten high a few times on the perfect kinds of shots many posters here don't give Price the benefit of the doubt on (ie Nash laser wrist shot in Game 2).

Rangers pass the puck like the 75 red army while the habs struggle to complete a single pass.

Understandable. But now there is exactly no room for error because of Price. You can't give away a goal. He did.

Habs just don't have that kind of offence. Which is why that goal becomes more glorified.

That was a poor goal but let's respond. Why can't this team ever respond.

When Price let that weak shortie in between his legs the other game we scored on the next shift on the PP. So we do respond but it's never enough. We can only win when we score 3 or 4 goals. Offense basically has to be lights out or no chance. Lundqvist on the other side is winning games 1-0 and 2-1. Why can't the best goalie in the league?

He'll want it back. It's the type of save Price usually makes.

But people have seriously lost the concept of what a soft goal is. It's a cross ice pass on the PP and point blank from the slot with Price coming cross crease. It's not an easy save and it's not a bad goal.

He wants it back and so do we. But that's because we really need him to be at his best because we can't score.

Meanwhile at the other end Lundqvist loses his stick (again) and we do nothing.
