Sadly that's maybe half the offence the Rangers need to win this thing. Pretty pathetic. If Price gives up one more, we're hard-pressed to win. Two more? Good night Irene. This team's problem is its so skill-deprived it needs to work incredibly hard just to get a playoff goal but doesn't really make the other team work nearly as hard to get their goals. And in the end, people wanna simplify it to "Price<<<<Lundqvist." We're asking our goalie every round to have a GAA under 1.70 or we're ****ed. I mean, this team is averaging UNDER 2 goals a game for the playoffs since that shutout loss in Game 6 of the 2014 East Final. UNDER 2 GOALS A GAME!!! That's in a span of 18 games folks.

Hes not beyond criticism here. You can't give up a goal like that period in this type of game.
It's not a terrible goal, it's in the slot on the PP cross ice pass with Price moving laterally. But yeah I'm sure he wants it back.

Mate give your head a shake, that was a key save on a pp he needs to make. It's not an unbelievable shot.

**** happens. If you allow 1 goal, you statistically should still win the game.

Price's goal support in losses in this series is .98GF. That's why we aren't advancing, not Price.

Everyone blaming Price like we are supposed to win this game 1-0.. give your heads a shake

I don't know what goalie out there could do better with what we give for support. Lundqvist or Rinne I guess but Fleury, Crawford, Dubnyk, Holtby, Bobrovsky? They've all looked worse than Price in these playoffs yet some are still getting wins while others are already gone. Price is in a thankless position because expectations are so high and the offence makes the margin for error so thin, all anyone will look at is the W-L column and not the numbers (yet I bet if Habs won series and he had a GAA over 2.50 people would gripe anyway).

Lundqvist > Price this series despite all the media saying otherwise.

I don`t care if Lundqvist gives up more rebounds and ins`t as good as Price for positioning and techniques and loses his sticks more often, he stops more pucks and that`s all that matters.
