I understand that this tourney is historically one that is dominated by 19 year old's. This US squad is an exception after their historic draft last year (7 of the top 15 were drafted out of their program) it was essential to understand that you would be entering with a very young core. The coaching staff is extremely stubborn and it's holding them back right now by insisting to use less effective older players; they should be up by way more than 3 right now.

a montreal fan overating one of there prospects what a surprise ;)
I think most Montreal fans know what we have: an elite goal scorer who is a complementary piece best suited with playmakers who can get him the puck in open space. When playing with people who don't fit that bill he won't produce nearly as much. The US doesn't need him producing in this game right now but if they did put him in a position to succeed he'd be doing a lot better.

Finally finding their legs and game in the 3rd. You can get away with this against Germany but dont expect to win against Canada, Russia, Sweden with this shit. Get it together, boys.

Maybe? Not sure you can completely blame Caufields teammates.

He’s also been completely timid of any contact and has been a turnover machine when the puck is on his stick. Those turnovers are on him.

Wheels have fallen of a little for the Germans. Really impressed with their first game. Lots of good going on in german hockey these days... keep it up!
