I'm an Avs fan living in Canada. None of our prospects play on team USA. I don't even care, but that's just dumb to play your two best forwards 10 minutes a game. Zegras has been dominant almost every shift in this tournament and barely sees the ice.

I'm not crying a river, just stating the obvious. Some of these guys are grinders with limited skills, they shouldn't be on the ice more than your play drivers with elite skill.

One thing I will say, I'm starting to see why Caufield fell. That guy hasnt created a lick of offense in 5 periods now against juniors. He needs to get it going for the States to be relevant in this tournament

And yet...creating a 4th line like they have so far has allowed him to make plays. Who's to say he doesn't do it facing Seider every shift like he would on the top line.
My point is Sandelin is no moron...and certainly knows more than posters here who do nothing but complain.

At least he should be used on the top power play, he's a specialist in that area of the game. Of course matching up with 3rd pairings is a good idea, but playing him 4 minutes after 2 periods is still dumb as hell to me.
