I will say Laine has been far more involved in all facets since the 4 Nations. He’s not just wasting space, he’s actually skating.

It helps when your center competes and retrieves pucks.

Regardless, Beck is going to be a really good two way player. I’m not sure how polished a scorer he’ll be but the play will be in the opposing zone a lot when he’s on the ice.
