that outdoor game is a must-win

I mean, technically not -- but if we lose it we'll be behind c-bus with 3 other teams breathing down our neck and we'd have to win 80% of our remaining games to get into the playoffs. So I guess technically, not a "must win."

it's just a must-win if we want a better than 10% chance of making the playoffs.

No need to overeact i suppose. But, concerning to see them come out flat in such a important game.

Too much chaos in their own zone, and for some reason the puck bounced in all the wrong directions for the Wings.

How does the puck stay out when we're around their net when it's bobbled in the air? But ends up going in ours all night.
 
Alright get yourselves back together and make Columbus look silly at the stadium series game.

Btw this seems to happen every time our team has a mandatory day off

With 2xVGK, 2xCAR and 2xWSH plus COL in March it is absolutely a must win now.

I dunno, last game Elmer had like 7 hits...none tonight...no real jump most of the game for most wings, I counted around 25 high danger chances for the BJs and like 5-6 for the wings, to the BJs credit, if they played a real good dame for them, usually they are not good on the road, but the wings handed them one of their few home loses.

Did not see the first, but I'm not sure 'flat' is exactly the issue in the important games. As a team, they really don't know how to handle the high pressure situations well yet.
Confronting a big game, it's hard to be calm but energetic, confident but not careless, focused but not overthinking...
This team has a ways to go learning all of that.

Yeah pretty much this

Slightly concerning how this was the intensity they played with in such a big game, but it's 1 game, and if they win on Saturday we'll be alright .

Larkin and Raymond were terrible though, which is weird to say. That may have been the worst game of Larkin's NHL career, he was brutal.

Taresenko, Holl and and a couple others really hold this team back.

Larkin has been kind of shit lately and Raymond has slowed down a lot.

ADB and Cam had good games. I thought OT Benny was good too.

We’re definitely not there yet. We need Ras back and losing Copp sucks big time.

I think the rest of this season might start to go downhill again. Hopefully I’m wrong.
