Winning a bunch of 2-1 and shootout games wasn't going to be sustainable. You need to be able to score goals to win in this league, and that has always been the problem with this team, and it's why they aren't Stanley Cup contenders.

And if Dean returns with largely the same lineup next season the results will be the same. There just isn't enough skill in this lineup, Dean needs to make huge changes with the secondary scoring and bottom six.
 
Why does it seem like every time they try to generate some kind of offensive pressure, everyone abandons the puck and goes for a line change instead?
