FWIW, I went to tankathon and did a lottery sim for the draft. Nailed the Bruins second try (for their current draft setting)

I don't believe you're allowed to win 1st overall from their current spot. Can only move up 10.

Well, let me say this Leafs still have not won a dam thing, and I would bet it will not happen again this year, and I hope for a long time. Take comfort Acie in knowing you are still up on them.

And it was noticeably absent in a game where Toronto was running around. Surprising as he usually takes a roughing or noteworthy hit in this type of game.

Perhaps overthinking simplicity as the #1 defenseman currently.

Perhaps, he was told to reign it in because of the injury situation, right now, just a guess

Has there been news that he is still dealing with concussion? I haven't seen anything but could've missed it.

Not that I'm aware of but given his history I think it is the logical explanation for his poor play. He had a good season last year but ever since that hit earlier in this season he's been bad.

I think it goes way beyond anyone trashing him, if he's still suffering from post concussion syndrome at this point, he shouldn't be playing. He s young and has a great future ahead of him off the ice.

I'm not sure if his play this year is a result of his past concussions, but it easily could be and the way he seems to constantly put himself in harms way could be as well. There's no way you or I really know, I just hope he and the Bruins are doing whats right for Carlo the person.

I'm with you= he shouldn't be playing. However the medical staff cleared him to play & like most pro athletes he wants to play so here we are.

Maybe not game-changing, but I see a two-way 50-60pt center. I don't think we can expect much this season given his linemates and with how disconnected this team has been. He has been feeding guys like Brazeau a bunch, but they can't even receive a pass.

Rumor is teams maybe interested in Brazeau for the playoffs, what do the bruins do sit him publicly say we needed more speed in the lineup.

They wouldn't allow him to play if the tests had showed something/anything.
OTOH tests aren't always reliable, things can be missed.

People are high on Poitras because there's so very little else anywhere on this roster under the age of 25 to get excited about. He stands out in an extremely shallow pool.

Reality is we still have no idea what he's going to become. He's only 20. Could be anywhere from solid 2C to a career in the minors or Europe. He's a good kid to have in the mix, I hope it pans out for him. But I don't see him as one to rave about. Might be a useful piece in a competitive team, but not a game-changer.

Poitras needs to gain weight and strength. Too weak right now

Quinn was on the USA staff for the 4 Nations. I could see Sullivan brought back with Quinn as one of his assistants. Not what I'd like to see but wouldn't shock me at all.
